Casino Royale (+)

It is beyond cliche to say this now, but this is the best Bond film in years. It is a masterpiece in explosive spy action cinema. It is reinvention of Bond that I am told is much more in the vein of how the books were. It is also an origin tale. This movie is basically Bond Begins. It was great to see Bond as a character again, rather than just something that can hold gadgets and spit one-liners in an overly complicated, highly elaborate plot. I enjoyed it. It was fun. I cannot wait to see the next entry.

Pros: Amazing opening. Great action set pieces. Bond is witty without being ridiculous.
Cons: A little overlong. Some of the romance lines falter. The thumbsucking.
